There were 788 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and TENCENT (00700) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.47 billion and HK$1.55 billion, or 11.44% and 7.17% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 28.77% and 14.29% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and SMIC (00981) registered HK$1.2 billion and HK$1.08 billion of short sales, accounting for 5.58% and 5% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 24.61% and 12.81% of respective stock's turnover.
