There were 825 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and TENCENT (00700) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$5.12 billion and HK$3.07 billion, or 12.7% and 7.61% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 24.32% and 14.11% of respective stock's turnover.
BYD COMPANY (01211) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$1.45 billion and HK$1.43 billion of short sales, accounting for 3.59% and 3.55% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 37.14% and 14.55% of respective stock's turnover.
