There were 867 short-selling stocks. XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) and HSCEI ETF (02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.48 billion and HK$3.94 billion, or 6.88% and 6.05% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 34.52% and 51.25% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$3.5 billion and HK$2.14 billion of short sales, accounting for 5.36% and 3.28% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 39.19% and 12.84% of respective stock's turnover.
