[ET Net News Agency, 23 June 2026] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$176.88 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$31.29 billion, or 17.69% of the market's turnover. There were 833 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.4 billion and HK$4.25 billion, or 14.05% and 13.57% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 52.97% and 34.6% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$3.35 billion and HK$925.55 million of short sales, accounting for 10.72% and 2.96% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 46.03% and 31.5% of respective stock's turnover.
