Global fuel cell giant Bloom Energy (US: BE) and asset management colossus Brookfield (US: BAM) announced a massive expansion of their strategic cooperation, multiplying their power project financing framework for AI infrastructure fivefold to $25 billion.

This expanded agreement significantly scales up their collaboration from the $5 billion initially announced in October 2025 to $25 billion. The new funding will primarily be used to accelerate the global deployment of Bloom Energy's fuel cell power generation systems. This aims to meet the increasingly robust demand for stable electricity from hyperscale data centers and AI developers. As the AI race extends to the underlying energy supply, on-site power solutions capable of bypassing traditional grid constraints are becoming key to solving power shortages. The two parties will leverage this to jointly build a new "AI Factory" model that integrates power, computing, and data centers. (kk)
