One person, two roles; one dancer, presenting what cannot be said.
Combining theatre and dance, The Only Way Out is set in a white room and depicts how a person becomes trapped between work pressure, interpersonal expectations, and self-doubt. A door does not necessarily lead to an exit; a diary may contain secrets even from oneself.
Performed by one actor simultaneously playing 'male' and 'female' roles, the two characters are both like friends to each other and like two inner voices of the same person. The dancer, instead of using language, responds with physical movements to present feelings, memories, and desires that cannot be expressed verbally.
When you desperately want to leave, but don't know where to go—
Perhaps what you truly need to face is not that door, but yourself.
